Well we've been married for 3 years. I can't believe its been that long. I'm told we're still newly weds cause we haven't made it to the 5 yr mark. Well we met on November 1st 2002 and our first date was January 11th 2003. I'm not sure when we considered ourselves boyfriend and girlfriend, but it's been 5 years. So I never felt like newly weds or did newly wed stuff. The closest we came to was when we moved to Denver (2 weeks after our wedding) and didn't know anybody so we just hung out with each other. Well I'm still "in~love" with him and glad I married him. We have the same standards and beliefs (I think they are the most important things) but when it comes to taste and likes we couldn't be more different. He is the most thoughtful person I know. He is always helping me and doing chores (especially the ones I don't like). He isn't very good when it comes to holidays (he blames me for getting the stuff I want), but if he only did stuff on the holidays I'd be crazy. So I'm happy for exactly who he is. This Wednesday we took the girls out to Cracker Barrel. But he wanted to take me to a nice restaurant (I told him that's what I wanted) just the two of us. So we are hoping to do that this weekend. The girls are awake I just wanted to express my gratitude and love for my sweet husband. Thanks Ken for marrying me and putting up with all of my craziness (I really am crazy). Well, until next time.
***UPDATE****
We didn't make it out to eat but went to the temple instead. Ken also made a few of my favorite foods. The way to my heart is to through my stomach. He is so thoughtful and a great cook.
Hi, my name is Faith and I married my perfect match, Ken, on April 16th 2005. We have two amazing daughters, Sariah and Chloe and a handsome little man, Isaac. With one more on the way. And this is our way of keeping in touch and letting our friends and family what's going on at our house. This is also how I keep my sanity; writing down what happens to me seems to make me feel better. Plus I can’t resist bragging about my amazing kids.
